ICACTL MISSION STATEMENT
The ICACTL is dedicated to promoting quality computed tomography
diagnostic testing in the delivery of health care by providing
a peer review process of laboratory accreditation.

Committed
to balancing the changing needs of both the CT community and
the general public, the ICACTL was created by uniting physicians,
technologists and physicists from the sponsoring organizations.
Collaborating together, this group formed the ICACTL Board of
Directors and composed the body of work known as The Standards,
an extensive document defining the minimal requirements for
CT laboratories to provide quality care. Laboratories use The
Standards as both a guideline and the foundation to create
and achieve realistic quality care goals.
ICACTL Accreditation is offered in the following testing areas:
- Coronary Calcium Scoring
- Cardiovascular CTA
- Neuro [Brain, Spine, CTA]
- Sinus and Temporal Bone
- Body CT [Chest (Non-Cardiac), Abdomen, Pelvis, Extremity]
- Body CTA [Chest (Non-Cardiac), Abdomen, Pelvis, Peripheral/Extremity]
